Worm Gear Drive in Fertilizer Plants
Today, gear drives are being used in the manufacturing process of
fertilizers. One of the recognized gear drive is worm gear drive. These worm
gear drives consist some features. One of the feature is that these gear
drives are Wire Rope Electric Hoists. These worm gear drives operate very
smoothly, fast, and with a higher degree of reliability. These worm gear
drives are available in three different models, like single hook, twin hook
and multiple hook. These different models are used for different work
specifications, either for mounting of floor, ceiling, lug or trolley. These
worm gear drives are also available in different weight categories and each
category provide absolutely trouble free operation in every kind of
application.
Fertilizer Disc and Hopper Openers
Fertilizer disc and hopper openers are seated to a front tool bar. The
planting unit is mounted to a second bar. This arrangement provides it more
flexibility in row spacing. The features of this equipment are: Along with
knives, these are also found with knife cutters.
In these hoppers, there are twenty four different gear combinations. These
facilitates these hoppers in carrying more fertilizer at a time.
